An original painting by Nelson Mandela, a South African leader of anti-apartheid leader, is going on in the auction on May 2, in the United States. The film's name is 'The Cell Door, Robben Island'. Vanya, the renowned auctioneer of New York, is taking it to the auction.

Mandela's daughter Pamla Makaajiva had this painting so long. It is being taken into the auction of modern and contemporary sections of African painting.
